Music is one of humanity's most powerful forms of expression. While it can entertain, its true strength lies in its ability to connect people across cultures, backgrounds, and experiences. Few things have the capacity to evoke emotion, preserve memories, and communicate ideas as deeply and universally as music. For that reason, I am grateful every day for the opportunity to be a musician and composer, contributing my own voice to a tradition that has inspired and united people throughout history.

The inspiration behind my compositions comes from many sources, but personal experiences remain at the heart of my creative process. I strive to write music that reflects the complexities of the human experience—its joys, struggles, triumphs, and moments of quiet beauty. Through melody, harmony, and rhythm, I seek to create works that resonate with listeners on a personal level and foster a sense of shared understanding. As a result, my compositions are often narrative in nature. While they generally draw upon traditional forms and structures, each piece is guided by a story, emotion, or idea that shapes its musical journey from beginning to end.

Composer, Pianist, Patriot

My journey in music began from humble origins. At the age of three, a spontaneous display of musical aptitude caught the attention of my parents, who soon enrolled me in piano lessons. What began as a childhood activity quickly became a lifelong passion. I continued studying piano throughout my school years, developing not only my technical abilities but also a deep and lasting connection to music.

As I grew older, that passion evolved into a calling. By middle school, I had realized that my future lay in music, particularly in composition. The ability to create and communicate through sound fascinated me, and I became determined to pursue it as both an artistic and professional endeavor.

This path led me to the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater, where I earned a degree in Theory and Composition. During my studies, I had the privilege of learning from exceptional teachers and musicians whose guidance helped shape my artistic voice and understanding of the craft.

Since completing my undergraduate degree, I have balanced my dedication to composition with the practical demands of everyday life, working outside the field while continuing to write, produce, and record my music whenever possible. Looking ahead, I hope to return to academia to pursue a master's degree and further refine my skills as a composer. My ultimate goal is to devote myself fully to creating music and sharing it with audiences for years to come.
